A court in Rajasthan has sentenced OmGiri alias Om Prakash to life imprisonment for the murder of a monk in Samdadi. The accused had attempted to destroy evidence by severing the victim's legs.

Seven years after a monk was brutally murdered in Samdadi, Rajasthan, a local court has delivered its verdict. The accused, identified as OmGiri alias Om Prakash, has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The court found OmGiri guilty of the murder, which involved the gruesome act of severing both legs of the victim's body. This act was reportedly an attempt by the accused to destroy evidence and conceal the crime.

The case, which had remained unresolved for seven years, saw justice finally delivered following the court's thorough examination of the facts and evidence presented.
