Residents of Rajasthan can now access 27 government services, including bill payments and certificate issuance, through WhatsApp by sending a simple 'Hi' message. The new initiative aims to bring government services directly to citizens' mobile phones.

The Rajasthan government has launched an innovative E-Mitra service accessible via WhatsApp, bringing 27 essential government services directly to citizens' mobile devices. Residents can initiate requests by simply sending a 'Hi' message to the dedicated WhatsApp number 9461062705.

This new digital initiative expands the reach of public services, allowing individuals to avail themselves of various facilities from the convenience of their homes. Previously, these services, ranging from utility bill payments to the application and issuance of certificates, required a visit to an E-Mitra kiosk.

The introduction of WhatsApp-based E-Mitra services is expected to significantly reduce the need for physical visits to service centers, enhancing accessibility and efficiency for the public. This move aligns with the government's efforts to leverage technology for improved citizen service delivery.
