The state has put a hold on the approved investment incentive for Goyal Fashions Private Ltd until the Anti-Corruption Bureau completes its preliminary inquiry.
The Rajasthan administration announced that the investment incentive package granted to Goyal Fashions Private Limited will remain frozen until the Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) finishes its initial investigation into alleged corruption. The decision was taken as part of the state’s zero‑tolerance policy toward any misuse of public funds or preferential treatment.
Goyal Fashions, a private apparel firm, had earlier received approval for a financial incentive under a state scheme aimed at attracting private investment and boosting employment. The incentive was expected to support expansion plans, but the pending probe has prompted officials to withhold the benefits.
The ACB’s preliminary inquiry is focused on verifying the legitimacy of the company’s application and any possible irregularities in the approval process. Officials said the suspension will remain in effect until the bureau issues a conclusive report, after which the government will decide whether to release the funds.
State sources indicated that the move underscores the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the allocation of investment incentives, signalling to other businesses that compliance with anti‑corruption norms is mandatory.
