Rajasthan Ends 34-Day Municipal Code of Conduct After Elections

After the completion of local elections, the Rajasthan State Election Commission imposed a code of conduct on 309 municipal bodies to ensure a fair electoral process. The code restricted activities such as advertising, public meetings, and certain developmental works for 34 days. On Tuesday evening, the commission officially lifted these restrictions, marking the end of the code of conduct. With the ban removed, municipal bodies can now resume their routine functions and initiate new projects without electoral constraints.
