Rajasthan Cyber Police Issue Advisory to Combat Child Sexual Abuse Material

The cyber crime unit of the Rajasthan Police has issued an official advisory aimed at curbing the circulation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on digital platforms. The notice calls on citizens, internet service providers and online service operators to remain alert for any such content and to report suspicious material promptly to the designated cyber crime helpline.

Authorities stress that early detection and reporting are critical to preventing the exploitation of minors and to facilitating swift legal action against perpetrators. The advisory outlines the procedural steps for lodging complaints, including the use of the national cybercrime portal and local police stations.

The Rajasthan Cyber Police also highlighted the importance of cooperation between law enforcement agencies and technology firms to trace the origin of illicit content. The advisory aligns with central government directives to strengthen child protection measures in the digital sphere.
