Congress state chief Govind Singh Dotasra said the party will hold off any action on the Vishwendra Singh issue until the investigative committee submits its findings.
The internal dispute surrounding senior leader Vishwendra Singh has drawn the attention of the Rajasthan unit of the Indian National Congress. Allegations of procedural irregularities in recent party elections have prompted the formation of investigative committees to examine the matter.
State president Govind Singh Dotasra addressed party workers in Jaipur, stating that the Congress will not take any further step regarding the controversy until the committees complete their inquiry and submit a report. He emphasized that the decision will be based solely on the findings of those reports.
The committees were constituted shortly after reports of anomalies in the party's internal elections, and they are tasked with reviewing evidence, hearing testimonies, and presenting their conclusions to the state leadership. No timeline has been announced for the submission of the report.
Until the report is received, the party’s official stance remains neutral, and no disciplinary action or policy change has been announced concerning Vishwendra Singh or the alleged election irregularities.
