The Rajasthan Employee Selection Board confirmed that normalization will be applied to this year’s senior secondary and graduate level CET exams, with over 40 lakh candidates registered and the test slated for December.

The Rajasthan Employee Selection Board (Rajasthan ESB) is preparing to conduct its Common Eligibility Test (CET) for senior secondary and graduate‑level candidates later this year. The CET serves as a gateway for various state government posts, replacing multiple individual exams with a single standardized assessment.

Board Chairman Alok Raj announced that the normalization process, which adjusts scores to account for variations across test sessions, will be employed again for this cycle. The decision follows the board’s practice of ensuring fairness when large numbers of applicants sit for the exam under differing conditions.

More than 40 lakh applicants have already submitted their applications, reflecting strong interest in the upcoming recruitment drive. The CET is scheduled to be held in December, giving candidates a clear timeline to prepare for the standardized test.

Normalization is expected to level the playing field, allowing candidates from different test centers and dates to be compared on an equal basis. The board has urged aspirants to monitor official notifications for detailed guidelines and exam dates.
