The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education announced that the 2027 board examinations will commence on February 16, with a revised schedule for each paper.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has confirmed that the 2027 secondary and senior secondary board examinations will begin on 16 February. The decision comes after a review of the academic calendar and aims to provide a smoother examination window for students across the state.
All subjects will follow a newly released timetable that adjusts the start and end times of each paper. Compared with the earlier draft, several papers have been shifted by up to an hour to avoid clashes with regional holidays and to accommodate transport logistics for remote schools.
RBSE officials said the revised timings are intended to reduce student fatigue and ensure a fair assessment environment. Detailed schedules for each class and subject will be posted on the board’s official website later this week.
Students, teachers and parents are advised to check the updated timetable promptly and plan their study schedules accordingly. The board has also urged schools to disseminate the information to avoid any confusion on the day examinations commence.
