The Rajasthan agriculture department confiscated 1,500 bags of fertilizer, including 1,000 DAP and 500 potash bags, from the Sukhwal Agricultural Service Center in Daikhra, Jhalawar district, after finding document and stock record irregularities.
The agriculture department of Rajasthan carried out a raid at the Sukhwal Agricultural Service Center located in Daikhra, within the Khanpur area of Jhalawar district, and seized a total of 1,500 bags of fertilizer.
The confiscated stock comprised 1,000 bags of di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) and 500 bags of potash, both essential nutrients for Indian farmers.
During the inspection, officials discovered discrepancies in the centre’s paperwork, purchase invoices and inventory logs, indicating that the fertilizer had been stored without proper authorization.
The department has lodged a formal report and is pursuing further action against those responsible for the illegal stock, emphasizing strict compliance with state fertilizer regulations.
