Rain, Thunderstorms and Hailstorm Alert Issued for Jaipur and Bharatpur

A weather alert was released today for the Rajasthan districts of Jaipur and Bharatpur, citing the likelihood of intense rain, frequent thunderstorms and isolated hailstorms. The warning follows a rapid drop in atmospheric pressure and rising humidity levels recorded by the state’s meteorological stations. Residents are advised to stay indoors during the peak periods, which are expected to occur late afternoon and early evening. Authorities have urged commuters to exercise caution on roads, as waterlogging and slippery conditions may develop quickly. The department will continue to monitor the situation and issue further updates if the weather deteriorates further.
