Rain swells seasonal rivers in Rajasthan, yellow thunderstorm alert for seven districts

Monsoon rains have lifted the water levels of seasonal rivers and streams throughout Rajasthan, creating localized flooding in low‑lying areas.

The state meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and heavy rain covering seven districts, warning of possible flash floods and strong gusts.

Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and have advised residents in the affected districts to stay alert, avoid unnecessary travel near swollen watercourses, and follow any further instructions from local officials.
