Rain Expected in Eastern Rajasthan While Western Districts Remain Hot, Sep 27-29

A Bengal Bay system and a western disturbance will bring showers to eastern Rajasthan, including Jaipur and Bharatpur, from September 27 to 29, while western districts stay dry and hot.
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a short‑term forecast indicating that a moisture‑laden system over the Bay of Bengal, together with an approaching western disturbance, will affect Rajasthan between September 27 and 29.
The combined influence is expected to produce scattered to moderate rainfall in the eastern part of the state, especially around Jaipur, Bharatpur and adjoining districts. Accumulations are likely to be light to moderate, with occasional thunderstorms.
In contrast, the western districts such as Jodhpur, Barmer and Jaisalmer are projected to remain under clear skies, with temperatures climbing above 38 °C, extending the ongoing heat spell.
Residents in the rain‑prone zones are advised to stay alert for localized flooding, while those in the hotter western areas should take precautions against heat‑related illnesses.
