Meteorologists noted that the system is being driven by an upper‑level trough, bringing widespread cloud cover and intermittent downpours throughout the valley and adjoining hill districts.
Temperatures are expected to remain above normal for this time of year, with daytime highs ranging between 25°C and 30°C in the plains and 18°C to 22°C in higher elevations.
