Rahul Gandhi meets Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh leaders to plan election strategy

New Delhi — Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi convened a closed‑door session with key party figures from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The gathering focused on consolidating the party's grassroots outreach, candidate selection and messaging ahead of the next general election. Gandhi emphasized the need to address regional concerns while presenting a unified national narrative.

Leaders from both states, including the chief ministers' senior aides and district organizers, discussed performance gaps in recent state polls and explored ways to mobilize traditional vote banks. The meeting also reviewed campaign logistics, such as rally scheduling and digital outreach, to maximize voter engagement.

Political analysts view the session as a sign that the Congress is intensifying its coordination in two pivotal Hindi‑heartland states. The party hopes the joint strategy will translate into improved vote shares when the election schedule is announced later this year.
