Prime Ministerial leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in Indore to take part in the ‘Students’ Goonj’ program, where he engaged with students on issues such as education quality, competitive exam leaks and joblessness.
Rahul Gandhi touched down in Indore on Thursday as part of a Congress outreach drive aimed at youth. The leader joined the “Students’ Goonj” event organised by local student bodies, marking his first appearance in the city since the parliamentary session began.
During his address, Gandhi highlighted the need for improving the quality of education, curbing paper‑leak scandals in competitive examinations and creating more employment opportunities for fresh graduates. He urged the government to ensure transparent recruitment processes and to expand skill‑development programmes.
The gathering also witnessed a heated exchange between a senior police officer and the event’s organizers over security arrangements, but the discussion quickly shifted back to the students’ concerns. Gandhi responded to several questions from the audience, reiterating his party’s commitment to tackling unemployment and educational reforms.
