The 24‑year‑old cricketer flew from Srinagar to Hubballi in less than a day, scored an unbeaten 160 in the Ranji Trophy final, and helped Jammu and Kashmir clinch their maiden title.

Qamran Iqbal was called up to the Jammu and Kashmir squad less than 24 hours before the Ranji Trophy final and had to travel nearly 2,800 kilometres from Srinagar to Hubballi in a single day.

In the final, the 24‑year‑old smashed an unbeaten 160, steering his team to a historic first Ranji Trophy title.
