Despite a delay in the monsoon's arrival, scattered light rainfall across Punjab has provided some respite from the intense heat, with temperatures dropping significantly.
Punjab has experienced a slight dip in temperatures following scattered light showers that brought temporary relief from the ongoing severe heatwave. The much-anticipated monsoon has been delayed in its arrival across the state.
The rainfall, though intermittent and localized, has led to a noticeable decrease in mercury levels. Reports indicate a drop of 3.6 degrees Celsius in some areas, offering a much-needed break to residents grappling with the summer heat.
Meteorological departments have issued a yellow alert for the next four days, indicating the possibility of further rainfall and thunderstorms in various parts of Punjab. This alert suggests a cautious approach is advised as weather patterns remain unpredictable.
