Punjab Government raises Dearness Allowance by 8% for staff and pensioners

Punjab's state government has approved an eight percent hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for its salaried workforce and pensioners. The decision was taken after a meeting with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who emphasized the need to adjust allowances in line with rising living costs.
