Pune Celebrates Ganesh Visarjan 2026: Murlidhar Mohol, Neelam Gorhe, Chandrakant Patil Join Immersion Procession

The immersion of Lord Ganesh, known as Visarjan, was held in Pune on the day of the festival in 2026. The procession, which followed the traditional route along the banks of the Mutha River, saw Murlidhar Mohol, Neelam Gorhe and Chandrakant Patil among the devotees lining the path. Thousands of worshippers gathered to witness the ceremony, chanting prayers and offering flowers. The event concluded with the ceremonial immersion of the idol into the river, symbolising the return of the deity to his celestial abode.
