Amid a protest on Tolstoy Marg in Delhi, several demonstrators were seen playing games on the roadside, creating a striking contrast to the marching crowd.
A crowd of demonstrators gathered on Tolstoy Marg in Delhi as part of a larger citywide protest. While the majority of participants marched and chanted slogans, a smaller group broke away from the main line and settled on the pavement to engage in games.
Eyewitnesses reported that the protesters were seen sitting on the roadside, playing informal games that drew the attention of passers‑by and media crews. The sight offered a stark visual contrast to the usual image of a protest, highlighting a moment of levity amid the tension.
Police units were present along the avenue, maintaining a standard security cordon, but no incidents were reported in connection with the gaming activity. The organizers of the broader protest have not commented on the side activity, and it remains unclear whether the games were spontaneous or part of a planned morale‑boosting effort.
