Workers involved in Project Tiger at Namdapha National Park in Arunachal Pradesh have not received their salaries for the past six months and are contemplating collective action.
Project Tiger workers stationed at Namdapha National Park in Arunachal Pradesh have reported that they have not received any salary for the last six months.
The delay has left many employees in financial distress, prompting discussions among the workforce about possible collective action.
Sources say the workers are weighing the option of staging an agitation to press for timely payment. The management of the Project Tiger programme has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
If the workers proceed with agitation, it could disrupt conservation activities in the park.
