Precision Wires has started trial production of copper cathodes at its facilities in Gujarat, marking the first step towards commercial output.
Precision Wires announced the commencement of trial production of copper cathodes at its Gujarat units. The move signals the company's entry into the copper cathode segment, a material widely used in electrical and industrial applications.
The trial phase will allow the firm to fine‑tune its processes before scaling up to full‑scale manufacturing. Industry observers note that domestic production of copper cathodes can reduce reliance on imports and support downstream sectors.
The information was reported by Business Standard, which highlighted the development as a notable step for the company's growth strategy in the metals market.
