Political strategist Prashant Kishor warned that demonstrations in Bihar will continue until the state addresses demands for better education, more employment opportunities, and electoral reforms.
Political strategist Prashant Kishor addressed the media in Patna, stating that the ongoing protests across Bihar are unlikely to subside without concrete steps on three key fronts: education, employment and electoral reforms.
Kishor emphasized that the youth and marginalized sections are demanding a revamp of the state’s education system to improve quality and accessibility, alongside the creation of more jobs to curb rising unemployment.
He added that electoral reforms, including measures to ensure free and fair voting, are also central to the protestors' agenda, and that the government’s response to these demands will shape the future of public dissent in the state.
The remarks come amid a series of rallies organized by student groups and civil society organisations, which have been calling for systemic changes to address long‑standing socio‑economic grievances.
