Police Close In on Kingpin of Synthetic Drug Ring, Five Arrests Made

Police have intensified their search for the chief of a synthetic drug trafficking ring after arresting five suspects, including three special educators from Perambra. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) identified the educators as key financial intermediaries who facilitated the movement of illicit funds for the drug network. The arrests were part of a broader operation aimed at dismantling the organisation’s money‑laundering mechanisms. Authorities are now focusing on locating the main kingpin and seizing remaining assets linked to the trafficking scheme.
