Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted that areas of Chhattisgarh once labeled as part of the red corridor are now recognised as centres of peace.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a gathering in New Delhi, remarked that several districts in Chhattisgarh that were previously identified as part of the country’s red corridor have undergone a notable transformation. He said the region, once plagued by insurgent activity, is now emerging as a model of peace and stability.
Modi emphasized that sustained government efforts, including development programmes and security measures, have contributed to the change. He urged continued focus on inclusive growth to consolidate the gains and ensure lasting harmony in the state.
The statement reflects the central government's narrative of progress in former conflict zones and underscores the importance of maintaining law and order while promoting socio‑economic development in Chhattisgarh.
