PM CARES Fund Reports Decline in Donations and Expenditure

The Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief Fund (PM CARES) has disclosed a fall in both incoming donations and outlays for the most recent accounting cycle. The fund’s statement shows that contributions this period were noticeably lower than those recorded in the previous quarter, reflecting a slowdown in donor inflow. Consequently, the fund’s expenditure on relief and welfare projects also contracted, aligning with the reduced cash inflow. Officials said the dip does not affect the fund’s overall capacity to respond to emergencies, as reserves remain intact. The agency will continue to monitor donation trends and adjust spending priorities accordingly.
