A road accident on the Bathinda-Dabwali highway in Punjab claimed the lives of three pilgrims from Balotra, Rajasthan, who were en route to Amarnath. Several others sustained serious injuries.

Three pilgrims traveling from Balotra, Rajasthan, to Amarnath have died in a road accident in Punjab. The incident occurred on the Bathinda-Dabwali highway when their vehicle collided with a stationary trailer truck parked on the roadside.

Several other devotees onboard the vehicle sustained serious injuries in the collision. Emergency services were reportedly dispatched to the scene to provide aid and transport the injured to nearby medical facilities.

The pilgrims were part of a group undertaking the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.
