The Professional Golf Tour of India and Business Today magazine have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding corporate golf activities across the country.
The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and Business Today have signed an agreement to jointly promote corporate golf events and programmes. The collaboration will focus on organising tournaments, networking sessions and sponsorship opportunities that cater to business communities and corporate clients.
Under the partnership, Business Today will leverage its media platform to highlight corporate golf initiatives, while PGTI will provide technical expertise, course access and player participation. Both parties aim to create a sustainable ecosystem that encourages companies to use golf as a platform for relationship building and brand exposure.
The initiative is expected to attract new sponsors and increase participation from firms that view golf as a valuable networking tool. Officials from both organisations said the partnership aligns with broader efforts to professionalise and commercialise sports in India.
The first joint event is slated for later this year, with details to be announced through Business Today’s print and digital channels.
