Patna will witness a special anti-encroachment campaign from July 1st to July 31st, with nine teams formed to enforce a zero-tolerance policy.

Patna is set to commence a significant anti-encroachment drive spanning the entire month of July, from the 1st to the 31st. The initiative aims to clear public spaces of illegal structures and occupations.

To ensure the effectiveness of this campaign, the district administration has constituted nine dedicated teams. These teams will be responsible for identifying and removing encroachments across the city.

District Magistrate (DM) Kundan Kumar has emphasized a strict 'zero tolerance' approach towards encroachments. He has directed officials to take decisive action against any instances of illegal occupation. Furthermore, the DM has instructed that First Information Reports (FIRs) will be filed against individuals or groups who re-encroach upon public land after removal, signaling a firm stance against repeat offenders.
