The Indian Railways is working to improve connectivity to Omkareshwar Road by launching a passenger train service between Khargone and Omkareshwar Road.
The Western Railway is making progress towards establishing a passenger train service between Khargone and Omkareshwar Road. During a recent inspection of Omkareshwar Road railway station, DRM Aswin Kumar stated that the aim is to launch the service by November 2026. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance connectivity to Omkareshwar Road, a popular pilgrimage site in Madhya Pradesh.
