A 40‑year‑old passenger on the Haridwar–Puri Ekta Express fell from the moving train near Shahdol after falling asleep during the journey. The passenger landed on the tracks and sustained a fractured leg. RPF personnel on duty spotted the incident and immediately called for a railway ambulance. The injured man was taken to the district hospital for treatment.
