Security forces arrested a Pakistani national who attempted to cross the India‑Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
Security personnel operating along the international boundary in Jammu and Kashmir have taken a Pakistani citizen into custody after he tried to infiltrate Indian territory. The individual was intercepted by border security forces during a routine patrol and was apprehended without any reported injury to the troops.
Authorities said the suspect was attempting to cross the Line of Control, which separates the two countries in the mountainous region. Such attempts are closely monitored, and the forces maintain a heightened alert posture to prevent unauthorized entry.
