Zahoor’s unbeaten hundred guided Pakistan’s U19 side to a three‑wicket victory over India in the Asia Cup match.
Pakistan’s under‑19 cricket team secured a three‑wicket win over their rivals India in the ongoing U19 Asia Cup, with opening batsman Zahoor delivering a commanding unbeaten century. The innings, which crossed the 100‑run mark, anchored Pakistan’s chase after they lost early wickets.
India set a competitive total, but the steady partnership built around Zahoor’s knock kept the required run rate in check. As the overs progressed, Pakistan edged closer to the target, eventually crossing the line with three wickets remaining.
The victory marks a significant moment in the tournament for Pakistan’s junior side, highlighting the emerging talent in their batting line‑up. Zahoor’s hundred not only propelled the team to victory but also placed him among the leading run‑scorers of the competition so far.
