Indian batsman Padikkal was unable to reach a double hundred in his innings against New Zealand A, according to Rediff.
Indian cricketer Akash Padikkal took part in a match against New Zealand A, where a double century was seen as a realistic target for the young batsman.
Despite a steady start, Padikkal could not push his score beyond the 200-run mark, ending his innings well short of a double ton.
Rediff reported the missed milestone, noting that the failure to reach 200 runs was a disappointment for both the player and his supporters.
