Veteran politician Pabitra Kar is notably absent from the Nandigram by-poll scene, stating he is no longer active in politics.
Veteran politician Pabitra Kar has stepped away from the electoral arena, remaining conspicuously absent from the campaign activities in Nandigram ahead of the upcoming by-poll. The political figure has clarified his stance, stating that he is 'no longer in politics,' effectively distancing himself from the current electoral contest.
Observers note that Kar's absence is significant given his historical presence in the region's political dynamics. While the by-poll campaign intensifies in Nandigram, Kar has not been seen participating in rallies or public meetings, adhering to his declared exit from active political engagement.
This development adds a layer of complexity to the local political landscape, as key figures navigate the by-poll without his direct involvement. The focus now remains on the candidates and parties actively campaigning in the constituency.
