The state has begun a statewide campaign to revise the 2026 voter list, giving those previously omitted a chance to register.
The Election Commission of India, in coordination with Odisha’s state election authorities, has launched a special drive across the state to update the voter list for the 2026 general elections.
The initiative aims to ensure that every eligible voter is accurately recorded, rectifying omissions and outdated entries that may have arisen over the past years.
Special registration centers have been set up in key districts, and officials are actively reaching out to communities that were previously left out of the electoral roll.
Residents are encouraged to visit these centers with valid identification documents to confirm or update their details and secure their place on the updated voter list.
