NVY has introduced Power+ LED TV, the first Indian television that can keep broadcasting during power outages, using a built‑in battery backup.
NVY has launched its Power+ LED TV, positioning it as the first television in India capable of uninterrupted viewing even during power cuts. The 55‑inch 4K display comes with an integrated battery backup that automatically kicks in when the mains supply fails.
The device is engineered to provide up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge, ensuring that families in regions prone to frequent outages can continue watching their favourite shows and news programmes without interruption. The TV also features a low‑power mode that conserves battery life during extended outages.
In a statement released during the launch, NVY’s CEO highlighted the company’s commitment to addressing the everyday challenges faced by Indian households. "Our goal is to bring reliable entertainment to every home, especially where power reliability is a concern," he said.
Industry analysts suggest that Power+ could capture a significant share of the rural and semi‑urban market, where power instability remains a major issue. The product will compete with other premium brands that currently lack a dedicated battery‑backed solution.
