The North-West Railway has extended the Ajmer‑Bandra weekly train to Dorai and temporarily lengthened the Bayana‑Mathura and Mathura‑Kota services up to Alwar, improving travel options in Rajasthan.

The North-West Railway announced the extension of three train routes to enhance passenger connectivity in Rajasthan. The weekly Ajmer‑Bandra Terminus service, previously terminating at Ajmer, now runs up to Dorai, adding several intermediate stops.

In parallel, the Bayana‑Mathura and Mathura‑Kota trains have been temporarily extended to Alwar, allowing travelers from these corridors to board or alight at the historic city.

Railway officials said the adjustments respond to growing demand and aim to ease congestion on existing lines while supporting tourism and trade across the region. The changes are reflected in the latest timetable and will be effective from the upcoming schedule.

Passengers are advised to verify the revised timings and seat availability on the Indian Railways portal or at local booking offices.
