The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has formally requested the Director General of Police (DGP) of Haryana to furnish a detailed report on an alleged refusal to meet the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Hansi. The commission’s notice cites the SP’s claim that a scheduled meeting with NHRC officials was denied, prompting the higher authority to seek clarification.
