The National Health Mission has signed Memoranda of Understanding with three organisations to enhance services for mothers and children across India.

The National Health Mission (NHM) announced today the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three organisations aimed at boosting maternal and child healthcare services nationwide.

The agreements cover a range of initiatives, from expanding antenatal care coverage to improving neonatal screening and nutrition programmes. Each partner brings specialised expertise, with one focusing on community health outreach, another on data analytics for health outcomes, and the third on supply chain management for essential medicines.

NHM officials said the collaboration will help close gaps in service delivery, particularly in underserved rural areas, and is expected to increase timely access to life‑saving interventions for mothers and newborns.

A senior NHM spokesperson highlighted that the MoUs are part of a broader strategy to meet national health targets and improve the overall health index of the country.
