A severe collision between a car and a milk tanker on NH‑11 near Jhunjhunu on Friday morning killed two women and left six others injured.
A heavy collision occurred on National Highway 11 near Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, on Friday morning when a passenger car struck a milk tanker head‑on. The impact was so forceful that the car’s bumper was torn off and the vehicle was severely damaged.
The crash took place at a busy stretch of the highway, where the tanker was transporting milk to a nearby dairy. Witnesses reported that the car, traveling at moderate speed, failed to avoid the tanker and collided directly with its front.
Two women, both passengers in the car, were pronounced dead at the scene. Six other individuals sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Rajasthan Police and the local traffic department have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities have cordoned off the site and are reviewing traffic camera footage to determine the exact cause of the collision.
