The Uttar Pradesh development authority has approved an additional 20,000 hectares of land in New Noida for future industrial, commercial and residential projects.
The Uttar Pradesh Development Authority announced that New Noida will receive an extra 20,000 hectares of developable land, expanding the city’s planned area for future growth.
The newly allocated land is slated for mixed‑use development, with a focus on setting up industrial units, commercial complexes and residential neighborhoods, officials said.
Authorities expect the expansion to attract investment, generate employment opportunities and ease the pressure on existing housing and commercial spaces in the National Capital Region.
Infrastructure plans, including roads, utilities and public transport links, are being integrated into the master plan to support the anticipated influx of businesses and residents.
The timeline for detailed project approvals and on‑ground work will be communicated in the coming weeks as the authority moves forward with the implementation phase.
