New Chhapra-Delhi Express Flagged Off by Rail Minister in Bihar

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, alongside Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, inaugurated a new rail service connecting Chhapra to Delhi. The event also touched upon broader railway development plans for the region.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has flagged off the new Chhapra-Delhi Express, marking a significant development for rail connectivity in Bihar. The inaugural ceremony, held in Chhapra, was also attended by Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.

The launch of this new express train fulfills a promise made within a 39-day timeframe, highlighting swift action on infrastructure development. This service aims to enhance travel and transportation options between the key regions of Chhapra and the national capital.

Beyond the immediate launch, the Railway Minister provided insights into a comprehensive roadmap for railway expansion. This includes plans for modernization of stations, development of new townships, and the establishment of a dry port, alongside a future vision of operating 200 new trains.
