The National Democratic Alliance secured all four seats in the Karnataka Legislative Council polls, with the Bharatiya Janata Party taking a sharp jab at the Congress party for its perceived lack of support.
The National Democratic Alliance swept all four seats in the Karnataka Legislative Council elections held earlier this week, marking a clean 4‑0 victory for the coalition.
The results were announced by the state election commission after the counting of votes on Thursday.
Bharatiya Janata Party leaders used the outcome to launch a pointed critique of the Congress party, accusing it of not supporting the coalition’s candidates.
The BJP’s remarks came amid a broader campaign to showcase the party’s growing influence in Karnataka’s upper house.
Observers note that the clean sweep could strengthen the NDA’s position in the state’s legislative process.
