The Narcotics Control Bureau confiscated Yaba tablets worth about ₹50 crore, traced to Myanmar, and detained two individuals from Manipur.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) announced a major drug bust in which Yaba tablets estimated at ₹50 crore were seized. The seizure was part of a multi‑state operation that uncovered the narcotics hidden inside fuel‑tank cavities of vehicles used for transport.
Investigators traced the origin of the methamphetamine to production and trafficking networks operating out of Myanmar. The use of fuel‑tank cavities as concealment points highlighted the sophistication of the smuggling routes.
During the raid, two residents of Manipur were taken into custody. Authorities allege that they were involved in coordinating the shipment from the Myanmar border to Indian markets.
The NCB said the case is still under investigation and that further arrests may follow as it continues to dismantle the cross‑border drug chain.
