The National Crime Bureau has identified two separate drug smuggling corridors entering Jammu and Kashmir from across the border.
The National Crime Bureau (NCB) has uncovered two distinct smuggling pathways that channel illicit narcotics into Jammu and Kashmir from across the border.
According to the agency, the routes traverse remote, rugged sections of the frontier, allowing traffickers to avoid routine patrols and checkpoints.
In response, NCB officials are stepping up surveillance and have begun coordinated operations with border security forces to interdict future shipments.
The finding highlights a growing challenge for law‑enforcement agencies in curbing drug inflow into the region and underscores the need for heightened vigilance along the frontier.
