Security forces recovered a concealed weapons stash belonging to Naxal insurgents in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh.
Security personnel conducting an operation in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh uncovered a hidden cache of weapons and ammunition linked to Naxal insurgents. The discovery was reported as a breakthrough in the state's ongoing effort to curb left‑wing extremism.
Officials said the arms dump was located in a remote forested area and was seized without any armed confrontation. The seizure includes firearms, explosives and related paraphernalia, though exact quantities were not disclosed.
State police and central paramilitary units have reiterated that dismantling such stockpiles is critical to disrupting the operational capabilities of the Naxal movement. The recovered material will be catalogued and handed over to forensic teams for further analysis as part of the broader anti‑insurgency strategy.
