The Ministry of Education has pushed back the application deadline for the National Scholarship Portal to November 30, giving students more time to apply.
The Government of India’s National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has announced that the last date for submitting scholarship applications has been extended to November 30. The decision, communicated through an official notice, aims to provide additional time for eligible students across the country to complete their applications.
The portal caters to a wide range of scholarship schemes covering merit, minority, and economically weaker sections, and the extension is expected to benefit thousands of aspirants who were unable to meet the earlier deadline. Applicants are advised to log in to the NSP website, verify their eligibility, and upload the required documents before the new cut‑off date.
No other changes to the eligibility criteria or the list of scholarships have been announced. The Ministry of Education urges students to use the extended window to ensure their applications are processed without delay.
