Nalwa Raises Issues Concerning Minorities in J&K with NCM Chairperson
Jammu, October 30:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha J&K President Ranjodh Singh Nalwa met Chairperson of the National Commission for Minorities (NCM), Harjit Singh Grewal, at his office in New Delhi and apprised him of various issues and challenges confronting minority communities in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Nalwa highlighted the concerns of minority communities and underscored the need for effective measures to address their long-pending grievances. He also emphasised the importance of ensuring the welfare, protection and overall development of minorities in the Union Territory.
Nalwa said that successive regimes had failed to adequately address the concerns of minority communities, asserting that the BJP remained committed to standing by minorities and working for their welfare and empowerment.
Various issues pertaining to the difficulties and challenges faced by minority communities in Jammu and Kashmir were discussed in detail during the interaction.
The NCM Chairperson, Harjit Singh Grewal, gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by Nalwa and assured him that the matter would be taken up with the concerned authorities for necessary intervention without further delay.
