Nagaland signs MoU with Google to boost school education

Nagaland's state administration has formalised a partnership with technology giant Google through a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening school‑level education. The agreement outlines collaborative efforts to integrate digital tools into classrooms, provide teachers with training on modern pedagogical methods, and expand access to online learning resources for students across the state.

Under the MoU, Google is expected to deploy its educational platforms and content libraries, adapting them to the regional curriculum and language requirements. The partnership also envisions the creation of pilot projects in selected schools to test blended learning models and assess their impact on student outcomes.

State officials said the initiative aligns with Nagaland's broader goal of improving educational infrastructure and bridging the digital divide in remote areas.
